I saw the miss me stuff on all the tvs but wasn’t there something after the credits ended?

I know how there are some mixed reviews of this episode, especially when it came to the seemingly obvious fan service (i.e. the different theories, the actual empty hearse group, the shipping, etc.)
Some feel that these elements are offensive: they make fun of the fandom’s beliefs and make us look insane. At first I sort of understood that point… I mean Sherlock and Moriarty kissing on the roof? Like What is that?
Then I watched it with my dad, who is definitely not part of the fandom.
He loved it. Sure it may seem as though Mofftiss is poking fun at different things they find, but in no way does it have any impact on the plot because of how it was written. When Sherlock crashed through the window and kissed Molly, my dad liked it because it felt very James Bond. When Sherlock leaned in to kiss Jim, my dad laughed because he realized it was the girl’s imagination. Both these things added to the complexity and the mysteriousness of Sherlock’s survival.
All I’m trying to say is that this was a win: we were given a great episode AND we have writers that listen to their biggest fans; not many shows care that much (
I’m looking at you supernatural)
Overall, I think The Empty Hearse was superb!
